Micromax Canvas 1 – Another Budget Smartphone Launched

Micromax – the smartphone manufacturing company has recently launched its latest smartphone, touted as the Micromax Canvas 1. There is no notable feature; the phone packs decent specs and hardware.

The smartphone features a 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that carries the support for 720 x 1280 pixels screen resolution at 294 of ppi pixel density. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, which means the smartphone supports multi-window, direct reply from notifications, and new emojis.

It is powered by the Mediatek MT6737 quad core processor and for graphics; there is a Mali-T720 graphics processor. On the storage front, the smartphone is equipped with 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage. The phone also supports MicroSD card for storage expansion that increases storage up to 64GB.

As far as the camera is concerned, the smartphone sports an 8 megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus, face detection and LED flash. While on the front of the device, there is a 5 megapixel front facing camera with LED flash support for capturing selfies and making video calls.

To power the device, there is a Non-removable Li-Ion 2,500 mAh battery buried inside it. The smartphone is available in various color options, including Matte Black, Chrome Black.
